From the offset, our buoy design has been based on a low-maintenance, cost-effective structure that withstands the harshest winter conditions. Offshore Buoy VPU800 has been designed to replace conventional steel buoys. With its diameter of 800 mm and focal plane of up to 4.0 m, it is a durable heavy-duty solution that meets the needs of the most challenging conditions.
Offshore Buoy VPU500 is remarkably more cost-effective than conventional steel buoys. Its structure featuring a diameter of 500 mm and a focal plane of up to 3.5 m has been designed for conditions where VPU800 would be excessively robust. Our coastal buoys are also available in shorter VPU500/800 versions for more shallow waters.
Port Buoy VPU400 is a cost-effective, durable polyethylene spar buoy with a diameter of 400 mm and a focal plane of 2–3 m. Our port buoys are moored conventionally using a sinker and a buoy chain. The buoy features excellent detectability due to its powerful radar and retro-reflectors and bright surface color. The buoy can be equipped with a lantern of less than 4 kg in weight.
Marine Spar EJV225 features a diameter of 225 mm and a focal plane of 1.5–2.5 m. The spar is moored using a short taut chain, enabling excellent location accuracy. The taut mooring also provides the buoy with improved ice tolerance. The spar can be equipped with a lantern of less than 2 kg in weight.
As River Buoy VPC400/800 features an upper section diameter of 400 mm and a focal plane of 2.0 m, the buoy’s detectability is easily sufficient for shallow fairways. The buoy’s total length is approximately 3.5 m which makes it easy to handle.
VPC400/800 is moored conventionally using a sinker and a slack chain. The buoy’s special structure prevents tilting to an angle of more than 15 degrees even in currents of 4 knots. The buoy can be equipped with any lantern of less than 4 kg in weight.
With its draft of only 1.4 m and total length of 3.4 m, Boating Spar VEP160/225 is specially designed to shallow watercourses and marinas. VEP 160/225 is moored conventionally using a sinker and rope. The spar is used without a lantern.
